El lunes, la Autoridad de Investigaci\u00f3n y Desarrollo Energ\u00e9tico del Estado de Nueva York (NYSERDA) anunci\u00f3 los ganadores de una oportunidad de financiamiento ARRA (RFP 1613) para proyectos de eficiencia energ\u00e9tica, energ\u00eda renovable y flotas limpias. Estos proyectos ayudar\u00e1n a hacer de Nueva York un l\u00edder en tecnolog\u00eda limpia, fomentar\u00e1n el desarrollo de nuevos empleos y mejorar\u00e1n la calidad ambiental de las comunidades de Nueva York. La financiaci\u00f3n ayudar\u00e1 a iniciar la instalaci\u00f3n de instalaciones solares de tama\u00f1o comercial en todo el estado. Gracias a esta financiaci\u00f3n se completar\u00e1n numerosos proyectos fant\u00e1sticos. S\u00f3lo en Long Island y en la ciudad de Nueva York, se adjudicaron m\u00e1s de $3 millones para instalar casi \u00bd MW de energ\u00eda solar.<\/p>\n

Para esta oportunidad, los solicitantes se limitaron a gobiernos municipales, escuelas p\u00fablicas K-12, universidades o colegios p\u00fablicos, hospitales p\u00fablicos o privados y organizaciones sin fines de lucro 501(c)(3). Los beneficiarios presentaron su solicitud de financiaci\u00f3n en noviembre de 2009 completando solicitudes que inclu\u00edan an\u00e1lisis de costo-beneficio e impacto ambiental de sus proyectos propuestos. Los fondos se asignaron a 7 regiones diferentes dentro del estado, por lo que los solicitantes solo compitieron contra aquellos dentro de sus regiones.<\/p>\n

Los fondos se agotaron para la mayor\u00eda de las regiones, pero quedan $6,8 millones para Nueva York y $1,6 millones para Nueva York Occidental. Las solicitudes para esta financiaci\u00f3n restante vencen el 7 de abril de 2010.<\/p>\n
