POSITION SUMMARY

Sales Professionals sell battery, solar and EV charging solutions to homeowners throughout the New York City, Long Island and Westchester markets as of Q2 2024. Sales Professionals also provide advice and analysis about how to optimize electric rate selection.

 

SALES OBJECTIVES

  • Convert at least 25% of opportunities into sales.
  • 5 closed sales per month by month 6 of employment 
  • 5 self-generated leads per month by month 6 of employment 

 

INDUSTRY LEADING SALES PLATFORM

  • Access to industry leading products: Tesla Powerwall 3, Qcells, REC, SunPower, Maxeon, SPAN Panel 
  • Access to industry leading financing: SunPower lease, loan, NYS Loan Products, Mosaic, and more.
  • Robust suite of design, estimating and proposal generation tools.
  • Efficient salesforce system with embedded proposal generation and contract generation tools 
  • Access to 20 + years industry expertise in product, design, estimating support Robust training program
  • Experienced, trusted capable leadership and strong team camaraderie

 

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop relationships with customers and discover their interests and goals.
  • Identify the best products, designs, and financing for the client.
  • Present proposals, demonstrate value.
  • Manage multiple customer expectations and oversee the entire sales process.
  • Proactively seek new sales avenues and encourage referrals from clients.
  • Deepen understanding of the solar industry, focusing on its technical, financial, and legislative aspects.
  • Collaborate with the EmPower team to meet collective objectives.
  • Uphold and champion EmPower’s core values, mission, and vision.

    • Proficient in Google and Microsoft software suites.
    • College degree preferred. 

YOU ALSO HAVE

  • Hunger to be wildly successful
  • A familiarity with Google Workspace, including Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendars, etc.
  • A familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM, preferred
  • 2+ References
  • 2+ years in a sales, customer service, project management, or similar customer-facing role preferred.

 

POSITION & COMPENSATION

  • Type: Full-time hybrid role, with an expected 45-50 hours/week. 3 days/week in-office is required.
  • Compensation: Uncapped commission with an additional monthly bonus. Potential annual earnings ranging from $75k to $150k.
  • Incentives: Regular performance bonuses, sales contest prizes for top performers.
  • Nature: Performance-driven; highly motivated and successful employees will be rewarded generously.
