STUDENT SOLAR COMPETITION

NYC AND LI STUDENTS K-12 ELIGIBLE

Overview:

EmPower Solar is proud to hold a bi-annual student solar competition for Long Island, Westchester, and NYC Students. Our company was formed out of the 2003 U.S. DOE Solar Decathlon and we have since grown to a 100-employee company serving residential and commercial clients in the downstate New York region.

Our mission is to engage the next generation of sustainability-minded students on the topic of clean energy. We aim to encourage students to use their STEAM basics to consider how our energy habits impact our environment and our daily lives.
